Rodolfo Spielmann and winemaker Pepe Galante focus on small-batch, high-end wines from a single vineyard in Perdriel, Mendoza, built on some seriously old-school credentials: a centenarian Malbec planted in 1910 on its own roots that yields concentrated fruit. They keep yields low and use micro-vinification in small tanks to squeeze every drop of color, aroma, and flavor from the grapes.
