About Bodega Amalia
This Mendoza winery is run by the Basso family, Italian expats who've been making wine here since 1922 and switched gears in 1997 to prioritize quality over volume. Their wines come from two estate vineyards in Valle de Uco and pack serious complexity into every bottle, with three distinct lines (DOS FINCAS, VIÑA AMALIA, and CARLOS BASSO SIGNATURE) that each tell their own story.
