Serpent Ridge is a family-owned vineyard in Westminster, Maryland, working in small lots of handmade wine. The portfolio spans thirteen varietals, from Chambourcin and Cabernet Franc to Viognier, Pinot Gris, and Albariño. Recent recognition includes the 2023 Viognier and 2023 Pinot Gris both earning 2024 Maryland Governor's Cup awards. The 2023 Medusa Cabernet Sauvignon was produced in just 36 cases. The vineyard has also collected wins across the Maryland Wine Masters Choice, Tasters Guild International, and Indy International competitions. The tasting room offers food and outdoor seating, and the vineyard hosts events ranging from live music and yoga to wine glass painting and cigar nights.
