Basignani Winery, Ltd. was founded in 1986 in Sparks, Maryland. The portfolio spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Chambourcin, Riesling, Vidal Blanc, Burdin, and Villard. Riesling is the best seller. Elena, a white blend of Seyval Blanc, Burdin, and Villard, sits alongside a Seyval Blanc and Chambourcin blend that won Gold at the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. Chambourcin is limited production, tasting room only. A Port Style wine is fortified with neutral brandy for 20% ABV. Walk-ins welcome if space allows. Wine club memberships begin at four bottles per quarter.
