Schuster sits in the western Weinviertel, near the Czech border, where dry climate and heavy loamy soils contribute to the wines. The vineyard work includes careful pruning, leaf management, and soil-conserving cultivation. Red wines gain expressiveness and complexity from those deep loams. Whites find their character in the interplay between fruit and acidity, drawn from loam and weathered limestone. The program spans fruity whites and excellent reds.
