Karl and Eva Schnabel established their winery in 1998 on the Sausal inselberg in Südsteiermark, where silicate bedrock in slate form anchors the vineyard. Organic farming across generations, never conventional practice in vineyard or cellar. The program produces natural wines without sulfur or additives. Three sons support the work.
