Seven generations of Yates family have worked Texas soil. The tasting room, 8,800 square feet on Highway 290 in Hill Country, opens daily from 11am to 6pm and houses a wood-fired pizza oven. The program draws from Dell Valley Vineyards in the Guadalupe Mountains, where Riesling ripens at 3,800 feet, and from Farmhouse Vineyards and Friesen Vineyards across the Texas High Plains. Blanco BDX blends 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon. Viognier, Cabernet Franc, and Cinsault Rosé anchor the portfolio. Amalgamation, a Bordeaux blend of 57% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petite Verdot, earned 93 points from James Suckling. Friesen Blend is a 2021 vintage of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Méthode Traditionnelle Sparkling Wine is made from Muscat using traditional Champagne methods. The Get Together offers a 3-liter premium boxed wine collection.
