French Connection Wines makes Rhône varieties in Hye, Texas, from 100% Texas-grown fruit. The Viognier spends 11 months in stainless steel before bottling. The Mourvèdre comes from vines planted in 1976. The 2023 Counoise scored 93 points with Decanter. The French Connection Mourvèdre earned 95 points from James Suckling, and the 2020 La Connection Red received 94 points from Cristaldi & Co. Members of the Hye Cru Club receive four special releases each year, plus complimentary pick-up parties in February, April, September, and November.
