About Rödler
Rödler has worked six hectares in Höflein since 1854, split evenly between white and red varieties. The program centers on Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, and Chardonnay for the whites, made fruity, dry, and acid-forward. Reds, including Blauburger, St. Laurent, Merlot, and Zweigelt, ferment traditionally in wooden vats and age in wooden barrels. The vineyard sites Ried Steinäcker and Ried Aubühl anchor the work. A Buschenschank sits on the property with terrace seating overlooking Carnuntum, serving traditional food and homemade desserts. Weekdays from 4 PM, weekends and holidays from 3 PM.
