Bretz

About

Jörg Bretz founded the estate in Höflein in 2005, after years sourcing grapes and wines from Burgenland's best locations. A trained winemaker from Geisenheim, he works with Grüner Veltliner, Weißburgunder, and Chardonnay alongside Blaufränkisch and Blauburgunder, following a natural wine philosophy. The whites spend a minimum of one year in large neutral oak, then six months in bottle. The reds age for at least two years in oak before a year in bottle.
