Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Radical Wine Company runs on an urban style model, similar to a craft brewery. Grapes come from vineyard regions around the world, brought back to the urban location for limited batch production. The business started as a hobby. In November 2013, its founders turned that hobby into Northeast Homebrew Supply. Radical Wine Company followed in September 2014, and the two operated side by side until February 2018, when the homebrew supply business was sold to a new owner. Two months later, the winery moved into a larger space. Some of its wines are made exclusively to benefit animal shelters and rescues.
