About
PMC Münzenrieder is located in Apetlon in the heart of the National Park Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel, where it works without herbicides or insecticides. The program spans Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Zweigelt, with the NEUBRUCH line anchoring the portfolio. Red wines ferment on the mash for two to four weeks between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Whites move through fermentation at cooler temperatures, between 18 and 22 degrees. Top products age up to 24 months in 500-liter French barriques. The cellar's balance reflects the production split, 50% red, 35% white, and 15% noble sweet wines. In 2017, the house earned Sweet Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge in London. A tasting room is available.
