High on the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River, Oakglenn sits above Hermann with a tasting room and a portfolio of seventeen wines. The range spans dry to sweet across reds, rosés, and whites. Seyval, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon anchor the program. The 2020 Silver Moon, a dry white with Seyval base and soft citrus, contrasts with the lightly oaked 2020 Merlot, medium-bodied and dry with ripe plum and strawberry. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is velvety and dry, touched with oak, with aromas of ripe plums and currants. Most Saturday and Sunday afternoons from April through October, entertainment unfolds on the outdoor patio or stage. October brings Oktoberfest celebrations every weekend.
