About
Myrtle Creek Vineyards grows from old family orchards in Fallbrook, now part of the newly designated San Luis Rey AVA. The region sits at relatively low elevations close to the Pacific coastline, with bedrock that is generally older and richer in sandy loam. The program works Syrah, Grenache, Sangiovese, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier on estate, alongside select local fruit from the Fallbrook and Bonsall area, sourced in limited quantities. Wines are hand crafted in small lots across red, white, and rosé. The tasting room opens Saturday and Sunday from noon to six, with select Friday hours.
