About Mountain Run Winery
Mountain Run sits on a 130-year-old farm in Culpeper, a mile west of downtown off Route 29. Founded in 2016, this family-operated winery works five acres of estate grapes across 36 acres total. The tasting room occupies a converted 1950s corn crib, open Friday through Sunday, noon to seven. The portfolio spans Petit Manseng, Meritage, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Riesling, Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, and Norton. The Meritage has won multiple awards and leads the house year after year. The property hosts more than a dozen weddings annually and draws over a thousand guests each October for the Fall Harvest festival.
