Michael Gindl - MG vom SOL

About

Michael Gindl works biodynamically in Hohenruppersdorf, where SOL names both his house and an ancient vineyard. The program moves through spontaneous fermentation and unfiltered bottlings. Little Buteo arrives hand-harvested in small crates, pure Grüner Veltliner. Buteo rests on fine lees for months. Buteo 12 ages in barrel wood from Gindl's own forest. Flora blends Riesling, Säumling 88, and Gelber Muskateller. SOL itself marries Weißburgunder and Grüner Veltliner from vines at least 45 years old. Red Bessi draws from older Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon vintages.
