About Messier Vineyards
Gonzales, seven miles from the Pacific Ocean. Ninety-three acres, twenty planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Greg Vita and Chris Vita work alongside Etienne Grivot of Domaine Jean Grivot in Vosne-Romanée, with Todd Kenyon managing the vineyard. The 2022 portfolio from Monterey AVA includes a Chardonnay aged six months in French oak, a Rosé de Pinot Noir unoaked, and a Pinot Noir Cuvée Sagittaire aged eighteen months in French oak. The vineyard practices sustainable and organic farming.
