About Blair Vineyards
Blair Vineyards began in 2004 in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. The gravity flow winery opened its doors in summer 2010. Twenty-three acres planted across ten varietals feed the program. Cathy Peyrot des Gachon, educated in France with harvests in Burgundy, Oregon, and Australia, leads the work. The portfolio spans Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Gewürztraminer, Vidal Blanc, Seyval Blanc, Chambourcin, and Traminette. A barrel room and stainless steel tanks held at fifty-eight degrees year-round anchor the cellar. The tasting room opens to outdoor seating and a picnic area. Food and winemaker dinners are available.
