Mead Orchards

About

Mead Orchards sits on Rose Hill Farm, a historic orchard founded in 1798, now home to 175+ varieties of estate-grown culinary and heirloom cider apples. Founded in 2018, the operation produces ciders from primarily estate-grown fruit using traditional methods and native yeast, alongside co-ferments that layer apples with grapes, blueberries, cherries, apricots, quince, and currants. New York State grapes come from growers centering sustainability and minimal intervention. The Orchard to Glass experience, a 1.5 hour private tour led by a cider or wine maker, samples 4-6 newest releases while exploring the cidery, winery, and orchard. Food pop-ups from independent vendors run daily. Private events, including weddings, are hosted on the property.
