NOSTRANO VINEYARDS

NOSTRANO VINEYARDS

About

Sixty-five acres in Milton, New York, farmed by the Trapani family since 1943. Ten acres given to wine grapes, fifteen to apples. Nicolas Bozzo, grandson of Joseph Trapani Sr., established Nostrano Vineyards in 2010, trained in landscape architecture at SUNY ESF. The Ava Rosé, named for his daughter Ava, comes entirely from estate Pinot Noir. The Arae Pét-Nat, named for Aria Rae, is built from estate Riesling. The portfolio also includes a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. The 2022 Estate Dry Riesling and 2022 Estate Pinot Noir each earned Silver at the NY Wine Classic.
