Lost Sage Winery

About

Joe Guenther planted the first Cab Franc vines here in 2011, nine years after acquiring the 22-acre property. He earned his winemaking certification from UC Davis in 2016. Today, five acres across three named blocks, Porch, Up Top, and Out Back, feed the cellar. The portfolio spans nine varietals, from Cab Franc and Nebbiolo to Gruner Veltliner and Pinot Gris. This is owner-operated work, without a public tasting room. Wine club members receive six bottles of new releases twice yearly, with 10 percent off bottles and 20 percent off cases.
