About

Alana Arnot leads the program at Longhorn Cellars in Fredericksburg, bringing a BS degree in plant and soil sciences from Texas Tech, service in the US Air Force, and experience as an enologist at Bending Branch. She joined as assistant winemaker in 2020 and employs a hands-off approach to winemaking. The house produces 100% Texas wines, drawing from vineyards in Fredericksburg and partnerships across the Texas High Plains. Arnot also serves as an international wine judge. The tasting room opens daily.
