Six Shooter Cellars opened in Fredericksburg in 2013 with a portfolio that ranges far beyond grape wine. The tasting room welcomes walk-ins without reservation, pets included. The program spans fruit wines, meads, and a signature Green Hatch Chile Wine alongside Was I Then A Monster?, Cherry Nice to Mead You, Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Stockyard Peach, Ghost, Republic Red, and two chocolate dessert wines. The house also pours frozen Wine-A-Rita drinks and Jalapeno Shooters, plus carries seven Texas-made meads. No beer here.
