Libertas Estates sits on 127 acres in Mt. Airy, Maryland, a working farm where 10 acres are devoted to vineyard. Errol and Berenice Rushovich established the property in 2015, building the program with vineyard consultant Thomas Kelly, farm manager James Ewing Jr., and vineyard specialist Alex Perez. The cellar produces Pinot Gris, Viognier, and Cabernet Franc. Sixty acres remain in active cropland. Tastings are by appointment. Dogs and resident farm animals are welcome.
