About

Knapp Farms was founded in 1986 on the shore of Cayuga Lake in Romulus. The winery was the first in the Finger Lakes to plant and vinify Cabernet Franc, a varietal now central to its portfolio alongside Riesling and Saperavi. In 1992, it opened Field & Vine Restaurant, the first winery restaurant on Cayuga Lake. The tasting room and restaurant offer food and wine together.
