About Hickory Ridge Vineyard and Winery
Ron and Sylvia Presswood planted their vineyard in 2000 on land they'd owned since 1979. Hickory Ridge is located on the western edge of the Shawnee Hills AVA near Pomona. The program centers on estate fruit, every bottle drawn from grapes grown solely on the premises. The house is known for dry wines, award-winning whites and rosés. The tasting room welcomes guests Wednesday through Sunday, noon to six, and encourages picnics and outside snacks. The tasting room is handicap accessible.
