About Karmere Vineyards & Winery LLC
Karmère Vineyards & Winery began in 1995 when Marilyn and Todd purchased 89 bare acres in the Shenandoah Valley, Amador County. The name honors Marilyn's mother. Vineyards across the property carry the names of women in the family. The work follows sustainable winegrowing practices. A French-style chateau houses the tasting room, open daily from 11 a.m. The Pavilion hosts winery events, including an annual Temperance Tart End of Prohibition Party.
