About Hoffmann
Hoffmann has been making wine in Mönchhof since 1724, tending just over 13 hectares in the Neusiedlersee region. Michael Hoffmann now leads the program, working with Burgundersorten, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, and Rosenmuskateller. RETRO holds the complete white wine line. 300 is a red cuvée that honors previous generations. Black Pearl, introduced with the 2013 vintage, represents the premium segment. The Black Pearl Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve Prachtbursche scored 92 of 93 points in A la carte Magazin and placed second at the Genuss Weintrophy 2021. Since October 2014, Hoffmann's Weinzeit, a Heurigenrestaurant, has been part of the estate. The restaurant was elected Best Heurigen in Burgenland in 2022 via online voting organized by Kronen Zeitung and Land Burgenland. Guided wine tastings are offered at the Weinmeisterei tasting facility.
