About Hiddencroft Vineyards
Lovettsville, Virginia. A restored farmhouse tasting room with two bars, built on land that was part of the Compher family farm since 1868. The property holds a mid-1800s smokehouse and summer kitchen, a springhouse fed by Dutchman's Creek, and a 1929 bank barn. Hiddencroft was founded in 2001 and grows all its wines on the estate. The program spans Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Chambourcin, Traminette, Vidal Blanc, and Viognier. Dutchman's Creek Blend, a non-vintage blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Tannat, anchors the portfolio alongside Chambourcin Reserve, Serenity, Rosé, and single varietals. A deck overlooks the vines. A stone patio and fire pit are available for outdoor seating. The house hosts library and vertical tastings, seasonal releases, and small-group wine experiences.
