About Notaviva Vineyards
Notaviva Vineyards began in 2008 in Hillsboro, Virginia, on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge mountains in western Loudoun County. Stephen Mackey and Shannon Mackey are the winemakers. In 2019, Notaviva Brewing joined the operation, expanding the portfolio to include wine, beer, cider, and hard seltzer. The Uncle Jimmy West Coast IPA features whole-cone Cascade hops grown on the property. All viticulture is done by hand. Each beverage is paired with a musical genre or lyrical inspiration.
