Hick

About

Hick began in 1968 in Rossatz-Arnsdorf, in the Wachau. The work centers on Grüner Veltliner, which covers more than 80% of the vineyard. The portfolio also includes Riesling, Muskateller, and Sauvignon Blanc, alongside the Grüner Veltliner Steinfeder Arnsdorf. Sylvia and Stefan Hick took ownership in 2023, joining Karin and Franz in the cellar. A new production building was completed in 2012. The house operates as a Heurigen, a traditional wine tavern where the program extends beyond wine into fruit brandies and juices. Apricots and Williams pears grow alongside the vines. Hick is a member of Vinea Wachau.
