About Herzog
Georg Herzog leads the winery in Großau, a district of Bad Vöslau in Austria's Thermenregion. The portfolio spans Blauer Portugieser, Blauburger, Blaurent, Welschriesling, Neuburger, Veltliner, and Chardonnay. The Selection Blauer Portugieser 2023 is dry at 13 vol%, while the Blauburger 2023 offers fresh, fruity character with delicate berry aromas, aged in steel tank. Heiliger Berg 2023, aged 24 months in barrique with roasted aromas and full body, won gold at Prämierungsweinkost Thermenregion 2026 and was selected for Salon Österreich 2026. Recent gold medals also mark the Welschriesling 2025 and Sungoartn-Neuburger 2025 at Prämierungsweinkost, and the Veltliner Kristall 2025 and Chardonnay 2025 at NÖ Weinmesse 2026. The family business operates a Heuriger with scheduled service in September and November 2026.
