About Greenvale Vineyards Ltd.
A sixth generation farm along the Sakonnet River, Greenvale began as agricultural land in 1863 and turned to wine in 1983. Twenty-eight thousand vines now grow across Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The winery produces Chardonnay, Red Wines, White Wines, and Sparkling Wines. The Chardonnay earned recognition from Food and Wine around 2012. The tasting room opens to outdoor seating and picnicking areas. Wine Club membership carries no fee, requiring only a commitment of four pick-ups or shipments over one year, with discounts ranging from 15% to 20% depending on the program chosen.
