About Gmeiner
Gmeiner sits on the sunny slopes of the Leithagebirge in Purbach am Neusiedler See, where the house has worked since 1987. The program centers on Welschriesling and Chardonnay. Computer-controlled fermentation shapes the cellar work, with stainless steel tanks holding light fruity wines and large wooden barrels plus barriques managing biological acid breakdown and storage. The 2025 Welschriesling is available now. Tastings happen in the vineyard with optional food, though advance reservation by phone or email is required. Online orders begin at six bottles.
