About Giovanni Corino
Giovanni Corino was founded in 1952 in Annunziata, in Piemonte's La Morra district, where the house now cultivates 9 hectares of vineyard. The shift toward bottled wine began in the mid-1980s, followed by innovative winemaking practices adopted in 1987. Hand harvesting and copper and sulfur-based products, applied without pesticides, are used in the vineyard. In the cellar, the program ages Barolo in small French oak barrels and does not filter or clarify wines. Sulfite levels sit generally below 50% of Italian legal limits. Annual production reaches approximately 50,000 bottles.
