FM Mayer Vitikultur

About

Franz-Michael Mayer tends 2.5 hectares across Vienna's vineyard sites. The program began with Sémillon in 1999 and has grown through careful acquisitions. Since 2005, he has cultivated vines over 52 years old in the Unger vineyard. A 45-year-old Neuburger plot joined in 2007, followed by a 35-year-old Pinot Blanc in Ried Preussen and a Gemischter Satz from Ried Langteufel. In 2014, he acquired a Gemischter Satz planted in 1960 from Nussberg. The portfolio spans Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Rotgipfler, Roter Veltliner, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and Gelber Muskateller. Certified Sustainable Austria, the house has been recognized among Austria's top 300 producers and rated W+ nationally.
