Eagles Nest Winery

About

Eagles Nest Winery is a family-owned boutique operation in Ramona, where hand-work defines everything. Grape growing, harvesting, processing, winemaking, bottling, and labeling are done by hand with minimal mechanization. The cellar uses gentle bladder presses and stainless steel equipment, with temperature-controlled facilities throughout. Wines age in traditional oak barrels or modern stainless tanks. The program produces small lots of premium hand-made wines and ports from Ramona Valley and South Coast AVAs, earning medals for the work. The tasting room and patio open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 pm, with reservations available Monday through Friday. Wine-themed lodging and private tours are also offered.
