Schwaesdall Winery opened in 1996 as Ramona's first bonded winery. The tasting room is the first commercially permitted straw bale-constructed building in San Diego County. Whites, reds, and ports are produced here. Saturday and Sunday tastings run 11 AM to 5 PM. The standard tasting, $15, pours five wines and one port. A dedicated port flight, also $15, features four selections, three gold medal winners and one double gold.
