Stephen and Marilyn Kahle make wine at 17073 Garjan Ln in Ramona, overlooking the Ramona Valley AVA. The program focuses on Cabernet Franc, drawing from estate vineyards and Ramona Valley grapes grown on premises. Production runs 300 to 350 cases annually. The 2016 Estate Cabernet Franc took Double Gold and best Cabernet Franc at San Diego Toast of the Coast. The 2012 Reserve Merlot won Double Gold, Best of Ramona Valley AVA, and Best Merlot at the same competition. The 2008 Estate Cabernet Franc Reserve claimed 1st place and Best of Show at San Diego French American Challenge. Tasting room open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am to 5 pm, plus select holidays and by appointment.
