About Domaine Saint Gayan
Domaine Saint Gayan has been in Gigondas since 1709, twelve generations of winemakers succeeding one another across three centuries. The cellar occupies a 17th-century building, holding up to four harvests at a time. Jean Pierre Meffre, Martine Meffre, Julie Meffre, and Christian-Yves Carré de Lusançay work argilo-calcareous soils without chemical herbicides, relying instead on traditional plowing. The portfolio centers on Grenache across the Rhône's appellations. Gigondas Cuvée In Nomine Patris, Cuvée Fontmaria, and Cuvée Origine anchor the work, alongside Châteauneuf du Pape rouge, Rasteau Cuvée Ilex, Côtes du Rhône Cuvée Trescartes, and IGP Cuvée Argiles in red, rosé, and white. HVE certified from the 2020 harvest forward.
