About Domaine la Florane
Visan, in Provence. François Fabre and his son Adrien farm 75 hectares, with 38 devoted to organically and biodynamically farmed vines averaging about 40 years old. The remaining land holds woodland, olive trees, and lavender. The program centers on Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Visan and Saint-Maurice, all from organic and biodynamic agriculture. The cellar is three quarters underground with gravity-fed design. Olive oil rounds out the estate's output. The cellar welcomes visitors Monday to Friday, 8am to noon and 1.30 to 5.30pm, with weekend and holiday visits by appointment.
