Clos Bellane

About Clos Bellane

Sixty hectares in Valréas, with 48 planted across East and South-East facing slopes at 410 meters altitude. Stéphane Vedeau shapes the program here, drawing from four appellations. Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages Valréas form the core, anchored by acquisitions in Vinsobres in 2020 and a small parcel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 2011. The cellar is equipped with thermoregulated concrete and stainless steel tanks, then ages in Burgundy barrels, demi-muids, or concrete vats, each choice calibrated to vintage and texture. Low-pressure pneumatic pressing and Burgundy-style punch-down are employed during extraction.
