About Domaine Humbrecht Bernard
Four centuries in Gueberschwihr. Domaine Humbrecht Bernard was founded in 1620 and has passed from father to son for 13 generations. Bernard Humbrecht began selling directly from the property in 1968, when the domaine held just 3 hectares, largely in what would become the Goldert Grand Cru. Jean-Bernard and Véronique took over in 1983. Today, under Jean and Guillaume, the operation spans 10 hectares. The program works Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Muscat across grassed inter-rows and mechanically tended alternate rows. Recent medals include gold for the Pinot Gris Vendanges Tardives 2019 and Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Goldert 2021 at the Concours des Vignerons Indépendants de France 2024.
