Domaine Gross

About Domaine Gross

Rémy Gross took over his grandfather Louis Gross's domain in the early 1980s, expanding from 2.5 hectares to 10 hectares today. Louis, a blacksmith by trade, had founded the estate in Gueberschwihr. Now Rémy and Vincent Gross tend vineyard parcels in Rebgarten, where calcareous soil defines the terroir, and in Grand Cru Goldert located north of Gueberschwihr at altitude between 250 and 350 meters. Biodynamic principles guide the work. Harvesting is by hand. The program produces Gewurztraminer and Muscat d'Alsace without additives or sulfites through maceration.
