Deutsch-Maier sits on the Schilcher wine route in Stainz, where the work moves through vineyard, harvest, cellar, and bottle without leaving the property. The portfolio centers on Blauen Wildbacher, the house's expression of Schilcher, a wine the winery describes as probably the world's oldest rosé. Weißburgunder and Chardonnay, known locally as Morillon, round the program. Everything from tending vines to final sales happens in-house.
