About

Cooperativa Terre Vive was founded in 2008 in Gargallo di Carpi, in the province of Modena. The cooperative works biodynamically, forgoing artificial irrigation and using biodynamic manure to feed the vines. The program bottles wines with added must, allowing indigenous natural yeasts to drive secondary fermentation. Steve, a white sparkling wine refermented in bottle from 100% Grechetto Gentile, anchors the portfolio alongside Lambrusco and Perfranco. The cooperative is linked to IL FERMENTO, which trains and places disadvantaged people in social agriculture work.
