Clavey Vineyards & Winery

About

In Chicago Park, in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California, Josh Orman leads the program at Clavey Vineyards & Winery. Named after Clavey Falls, a Class V rapid on the Tuolumne River near Yosemite, the winery was established by Marc Orman. Orman trained under master winemaker Duccio Meazzini at Fattoria Lavacchio in Tuscany, and is a graduate in Enology and Viticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. The portfolio spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zinfandel. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon ages in French oak. A tasting room welcomes visitors, with food available.
