About Nevada City Winery
Nevada City Winery sits in the Sierra Foothills, in the largest historic gold rush town established in the 1850s. The oldest operating winery in Nevada County, it makes low intervention wines. The 2021 Chenin Blanc earned a Silver Medal. Rough & Ready Red Cask 26 and the NV Zinfandel both run unfiltered. A free wine club membership with a one year minimum commitment unlocks three, six, or twelve bottle options with discounts ranging from 15 to 30 percent, averaging $70, $130, and $230 respectively. Tasting flights run $20, or $10 for members.
