About Château Haut Breton Larigaudiere
Soussans, one of the five communes of Margaux, holds Château Haut Breton Larigaudière on sandy and gravelly soil where Cabernet Sauvignon has grown since the château's founding in 1964. The name itself traces back to 1838 in local records, and the estate earned its 1er Crus Bourgeois Supérieurs classification in 1886. The primary wine carries more than 85% Cabernet Sauvignon. Trianon de Larigaudière, the second wine, draws from the youngest vines. Le Créateur, a special cuvée of pure Cabernet Sauvignon, began with the exceptional 2000 vintage. The house practices HVE4 certified sustainable viticulture and hosts more than eight visits and tasting experiences.
