About Château Malescot Saint-Exupery
Château Malescot Saint-Exupery has worked the same 28 hectares in Margaux since 1697. The vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon at 50%, Merlot at 35%, Cabernet Franc at 10%, and Petit Verdot at 5%. Jean-Luc Zuger has managed the property since 1994, working alongside Marie Khan-Chaballier. Harvests proceed by hand into crates. The program ages wine in barrel, 70% new, for 12 to 14 months, bottling unfiltered and unglued. The estate holds HVE certification. Classified as Grand Cru Classé de Margaux in 1855.
